ROLL OUT PLAN & PARTNERS PARTICIPATION

INTRODUCTION:

Considering the importance of Korea to the World’s maritime industry, we are pleased to send you detailed information regarding our roll out plan for 2025:

MARITIME BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE BREAKFAST MEETING [MBRBM] 2025

Quarterly, we organize the Maritime Business Roundtable Breakfast Meetings [MBRBM] on topical issues affecting the Maritime Industry in Nigeria. These meetings typically take place during the first and last quarters of the year, the first of such meetings being – Thursday 27th March 2025. The event comprises of Panelists who dissect the issues under review before maritime stake holders, decision maker’s representatives of States and Federal Government as well as discerning economic players.

The MBRBM provides an opportunity for leaders in the maritime industry in Nigeria to share their thoughts and advance solutions to the many challenges facing the maritime industry in Nigeria. It also provides an invaluable opportunity to meet and interact with government and the legislature on matters shaping the industry.

Many companies key into the opportunities that the platform provides. We invite the Consulate of the Republic of Korea to encourage Korean maritime stakeholders and interests in Nigeria to do the same and to share the road map of their leadership

LAGOS INTERNATIONAL MARITIME WEEK [LIMWEK] 2025

We would like the Consulate of the Republic of Korea, together with Korean maritime stakeholders and interests in Nigeria to partner with ZOE Maritime Resources Limited and ZAMOREX in the actualization of LIMWEEK 2025. We believe that this would added grace, dignity, education, and valuable information to maritime stakeholders worldwide who regularly converge in Lagos to attend the Maritime Business Roundtable Breakfast Meetings and the Lagos International Maritime Week [LIMWEEK], and to deliberate upon the latest maritime subjects reviewed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), through the chosen theme for World Maritime Day. We would like to develop this relationship.

This year’s theme for World Maritime Day is “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity” This theme underscores the importance of use of the ocean, development of ocean infrastructure, Ports and Harbors.   These are areas in which the Consulate of the Republic of Korea can play a monumental role by recommending Korean companies operating in the Maritime, Oil & Gas Industry to participate actively in the upcoming event.

ROLE OF CONSULATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA IN ACTUALIZING THE LAGOS INTERNATIONAL MARITIME WEEK 2025

To deepen cooperation with Nigeria  in  areas such as  the Marine & Ocean Economy and culture

Ensure Korean companies are actively involved in   Nigeria’s  Maritime, Oil & Gas Industry with focus on energy and construction

Serve as a bridge between Nigeria and Korea by providing Nigerians with opportunities to experience Korean culture and by facilitating people-to-people exchanges.

Considering the theme of the Lagos International Maritime Week 2025, focusing largely on our ocean, our obligation, our opportunity, it is essential for the Consulate of the Republic of Korea to play a pivotal role in LIMWEEK 2025. This role should involve recommending Korean Companies the will lead discussions at the roundtable on Port Development, Maritime Transportation and Logistics, Marine Environment, Maritime Training and Education, and any other roundtables of its interest. The Consulate of the Republic of Korea should also lead in exhibiting her capacities, goods, and services as well as be a leader in sponsoring the event in any chosen category.

ADVANTAGES OF THE PARTICIPATION OF CONSULATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

The 2025 event shall present an excellent opportunity to:
